"I booked a trip to Dominican Republic through Jean Gualtieri at active travel. She is supposed to be a luxury travel specialist. Unfortunately, that isn’t what I experienced. Once we arrived in Punta Cana nothing with as she promised. We contacted her, and she pretended to care about the situation, but never called us back or contacted the concierge she had spoken with on our behalf,as she promised. She totally disregarded our situation and left us to fend for ourselves. I am a woman of color and trusted her with four members of my family to travel abroad. She failed us tremendously. I felt like she discriminated against me because her lack of concerned about me and my family. Our situation did not matter to her at all once we hung up the phone with her. She never returned our calls and would not answer her phone anymore. We tried contacting her for several hours, still no avail. Fortunately, we are not as ignorant as she thought. We did the job that we had already paid her to do ,to KEEPING us safe in a foreign country. I will post this on every platform and podcast that will listen to the behavior of this travel agent. People PLEASE BE AWARE of what she is telling you as fact. Because once she get paid you will no longer hear from her, and if you do good luck with that."

After encountering issues with a family friend who works as a travel agent, including delayed responses and sold-out resorts, I decided to contact Stacia. BEST DECISION EVER. "We just planned a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic through Active Travel. If you're doing a destination wedding, you NEED to talk to Tara. She made our dream wedding happen! We really couldn't have done it without her. Active Travel made all of our guest arrangements and communicated with the resort to make sure everything went smoothly. Tara was able to give us guidance throughout the whole planning process. The whole trip was fabulous and much less stressful due to Tara's help. We were in contact frequently and any problems were taken care of quickly. We also got a great deal through Active Travel. Can't recommend them enough!"

She helped price out numerous options and gave us very helpful recommendations on resorts/islands.
