"I was having issues with my oven not getting hot. It seemed to be some sort of electric issue. Called Mr Appliance where I was told the process was: We will send a tech to diagnose the problem then they will provide a quote to repair. If you don't move forward with the repair, you pay a service fee of $110, if you do move forward with the repair, then the fee is waived. The tech did some initial investigating and had a hypothesis. Before exploring that, he called Viking to ask them if they had any input. It turns out, it was simply a setting on the oven that put it in showroom mode and a quick fix. The tech made the call and made the setting change while I was not in the room. I came in to the kitchen and he was happy to share that it was nothing big and everything was working. He then proceeded to say I owed $175 for "customer education". There was no warning or quote prior to that amount being charged and the "repair" was done already. The tech called Viking and I was charged $175 for that. I called later that day to speak to someone and was told the manager would call me back, it has not been almost a week and no one has called. Their technician was responsive but I felt the way things were handled wasn't good business. I asked to only pay for the service fee and was told I could pay that and the rest would be sent to collections. Not professional and wasn't given a good explanation of why I was charged so much for that visit."

"My LGFrontloader overflowed. Jonathan replied quickly to my repair query and scheduled a diagnostic visit. He explained the situation and gave me a quote for the parts and labor. He efficiently completed the repairs and made sure it was working properly. He was efficient, polite, and prompt. I would not hesitate to call Mr. Appliance in the future."

"Technician showed up and diagnosed dishwasher as having a bad water pump. Quoted just over $300 for the repair. Paid the diagnostic fee of $109 to think through the repair vs new purchase over the weekend. After calling in Monday morning to proceed with the repair we received a bill of $595. Was told by the owner that the technician made an honest mistake and refused to honor the original estimate. Would not recommend."
