"One year lease and encouraged to renew--- Why???- first 6 months were great. Neighbor dies from COVID and the whole building is suffering because of one apartment 202....Roach infestation again. She has rat "dog" she can't handle, smoking guests in non smoking building, broken security door for 4 months, won't fix and repair requests. Management has no urgency and are not professional."

"Horrible that they control so many peoples destiny! I applied for an apartment at York Creek and was denied because of old medical bills and paid a hundred dollars for a application fee and was told it would be refunded upon denial within two weeks yet a month later I still have not been reimbursed? Not to mention it was Christmas time and I still don't have adequate housing for my self and my 18 year old dog. I have adequate income and rental history and still got denied because of credit report and told that my dad who was ready to co-sign would have to make 8000 a month? What a crock!! And yet they own so many complexs in the area that your not going have a chance to apply!! Still haven't been reimbursed by them and feel like I have been robbed? Still no reimbursement and told today I would have to pay 25 dollars to have another check sent to me? This is insanely just a rip off! Are you serious just added this post a week and a half later from the original one and told I would have to wait another week from today or pay 25 dollars for another check to see if you get this one? Ya right!! I will wait and post again next week it's been a month and a half now? Ridiculous!! Time to file a complaint with the BBB. and new 8 on your side! Was treated very rudely!!"

"I should have read this first, I was looking to rent at York Creek for 3 months so as to not be locked in to an unfavorable living situation. The office coordinator was eager to help as long as she could remain vague in her responses. I actually offered to pay the lease in full upon signing, which 'apparently' they were not satisfied with. My last of 12 emails (mostly mine) from York Creek said there would be a $30 application fee (which is a racket) which I expected, then there would be $100 reserve fee which I responded, ''why would I pay 100.00 to reserve something you do not even have?'' and then came this ''Also when doing a month lease there is an additional $200.00 premium per month along with rent.'' That is verbatim. I asked for clarification and never heard back since. I can only assume that for the convenience of having a 3 month lease, there would be a surcharge of an additional $200.000 monthly over and above the PAID IN FULL LEASE ! I was purposing? Only my opinion, and since I posed that exact question to the QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE.....my immediate back and forth exchange has evaporated. What looks good on paper (i.e. property website) Might not be in actuality. OH, BTW: I was looking to move 10 days ago, before I was force to pay 1500.00 to the hotel I have been stuck in. YORK CREEK was contacted at least 8 days ago..................they contacted me 2 days after I paid my 1500.00. I am happy they are so busy in this economy......might I suggest that if they have no time for answering emails they should not offer this option???? **DO I FEEL BETTER? NOPE. York Creek Apartments"

"Staff have always been responsive and fast. Quickly fix needed maintenance issues. Apartment's vertical design is very clever. Allows for maximum privacy and minimal "confrontations" even with so many occupants. Overall this has a great quality to cost ratio."
