About the Business
Learning Tree Farm is a unique institution located at 3376 South Union Road in Dayton, Ohio, United States. As a traditional, working farm, we offer hands-on, nature-based education for school children, homeschool groups, parent groups, gardening clubs, families, and community members of all ages. Our farm hosts a variety of events throughout the year, providing opportunities for individuals to connect with nature and learn about sustainable farming practices.
Our nature preschool teachers are dedicated to sharing stories and nature-based education with our preschool students, even during distance learning. Join us at Learning Tree Farm to experience the beauty of the outdoors and engage in meaningful, educational experiences.
We are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Sundays from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Come visit us and explore all that Learning Tree Farm has to offer!

"Our experience at the learning tree farm was incredible! Salem showed us around each field, talked to us about the animals, and make it so much fun while dropping knowledge about the farm and its inhabitants(Tina, Boo, Penelope, Butters, etc). We explored the house, the garden, and enjoyed the playground with our kids. We truly enjoyed each space and touring with Salem. She was so professional, polite, kind and great with the kids. I highly recommend this for your next family outing!"
"Just visited the farm yesterday. It was wonderful! It’s a self-guided experience, as there was no one there, which we actually really enjoyed. When you walk up to the sign, there’s a link you can scan to pay on your phone. A friendly black cat greeted us and was our tour guide. The animals were friendly and beautiful. Great property. Thank you for keeping this farm accessible to the public. It was nice to walk around and enjoy it all without feeling rushed. It was a great experience and we’re excited to come back in the spring!"
