Nature's Neighborhood is a zoo located at 2 Hippo Way in Toledo, Ohio, United States. Please note that Nature's Neighborhood has early building closures on certain dates, such as Arctic Encounter closing at 3 p.m. on April 13 and Tembo Trail closing at 3:30 p.m. on April 24. The zoo has two parking areas for visitors, the Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot and Broadway parking lot. The institution has transitioned to a cashless payment system, accepting credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Visitors are not allowed to bring outside food, beverages, or coolers into the zoo, with exceptions for medical items, dietary restrictions, baby formula, and pre-registered school groups. The zoo also hosts special events, such as celebrating the newest member of their herd and offering wine tastings with live music. It has on the outside play tower,petting zoo, water stream in the summer,sand beach, butterfly house,shows in the summer and indoors a playhouse,bee wall to climb on,lots of trees that have so many different things in most of them face painting room a jumping room where you can be on TV seeing you being a star.
