"This place serves the best Mexican food in town bar none. Their tamales are huge and excellent. I had chicken fajitas and the chicken and vegetables were fabulous. They use as much organic ingredients as possible. They actually have a vegan menu. There servings are quite large. Their sauces and chips are home made. This place is fantastic. I wish they could be open more than 3 days a week"

Multi generational local business in which the apple sure hasn't fell far from the tree. They even welcomed my Service Dog Milo, which has become a favorite customer. "We have been guests at El Tipico's for over 30 years. Many of Toledo's family owned restaurants have sadly disappeared over the years. We moved away for a while and recently returned. El Tipico's was one of the first restaurants we wanted to go back to. We were so happy to find that it was not only still in business but is truly better then it has ever been. The food, the fabulous décor and the service have been outstanding. The owner; Dina Villa, attributed a lot of the improvement in the food to switching to organic ingredients which seemed to bring back the original flavor of her families recipes. We're so glad they continue to provide such great Mexican food in this area."
"El Tipico is my go to Mexican restaurant because of the diverse menu. All items are organic and can be made with traditional ingredients or gluten free and vegan with excellent flavor and texture. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Guests are treated like family. I have not had anything I've not thoroughly enjoyed. Support this amazing local business!"
