"Cedar Brook Apartments are decent apts in very safe neighborhood.  Apartment residents were great people!  Beautiful place, overpriced but worth it for the location & overall experience. 2 unassigned parking spots provided per unit, but there is room to park extra cars, if needed, within the complex. Your car will be towed if you leave your car parked on the street ($220 surprise on a Sunday morning). There are extra charges for short term stays & water (water heated by unreliable boiler hidden in the walls).   One (overflowing) dumpster serves the entire complex.  Post Office will NOT forward mail (nor deliver mail accurately). Walls were painted with VERY cheap paint (primer?) ... the paint literally washes off the walls & absorbs EVERY fingerprint. Adequate appliances are low end & outdated.  We had to repair poorly installed drain lines.  After several attempts by maintainance to stop the refrigerator from freezing the contents, we gave up on the them & applied an easy fix ourselves.  Maintenance was prompt, but seemed severly restrained by limited knowledge, budget, & disinterest.  Office staff (Kelly) is very courteous, caring, & competant.  Landscape/maintainance man deserves a raise ... he does the job right the first time :) Our deposit was promptly refunded (within 30 days) after moving out."
