Sheldon Square Senior Apartments

"I searched for almost one year before I found my forever home at Sheldon Square apartments. They are a brand new pet friendly 55 + community located in Berea, Ohio. My 4th floor apartment has met all of my needs. As a freeway junkie I am in close proximity to all major highways. My apartment overlooks the wooded area and I wake in the mornings to lovely songbirds. My support pup really enjoys relaxing on the balcony overlooking the park like setting inhabited by wildlife. The complex manager Monica, usually responds to all requests in a timely fashion and honors them as best she is able too. Having said that, it is worth noting that she is courteous, kind and respectful in all interactions with residents. She took the time to show me three separate apartments before I settled on one that "spoke to me". We really enjoy seeing her smiling face whenever we pass her office which has an open door policy. Joe, the property manager, is also very congenial and well suited to Sheldon Square as a valued member of the support team. On the few interactions I have had the pleasure of engaging with him, he has always been very welcoming. I saved my favorite for last. Dan, the maintenance manager, is a jewel in the sand. He keeps the property in pristine condition, responds to inquiries immediately with no long delays or wait times for maintenance issues of which there has only been one for myself. (Resolved immediately) This gem of a person is quick witted with a joke at the ready. He is skilled, experienced, and best of all, willing to perform his duties without a grumble, but with a smile and attention to detail. All of these endearing qualities are very important to me when choosing a home. Having rented in multiple places both on the West and East Coast, I can honestly say Sheldon Square is at the top of my list. The interior design is not only functional, but stylish. The amenities include: dog stations, game rooms on every floor, a large community room with daily activities, a salon, a coffee bar with delicious lunch offerings, and of course my favorite, the gym. My neighbors are wonderful. I am extremely comfortable and barring any unforeseen unfortunate events, I expect to continue to immensely enjoy my time as I age into the winter of my life. Judos to the corporate office for putting together a wonderful and supportive team."

"There are so many great things about these apartments but I am going to review the activities. There is something to do almost everyday that brings residents together to become good friends and neighbors. No reason to be alone here! Also 3 days a week the Cafe opens up with scrumptious food, bakery, salads and more. You can again spend time eating together or take these treats home with you. You will see how hers activities listed in the monthly Newsletter and then you receive phone calls also as personal invites to come to activities. Truly a community!"

"Our experience with Sheldon Square has been EXCELLENT! We absolutely love living here and we love our apartment. I can’t say enough about the apartment we chose , it has exactly the space we needed! It’s been convenient to everything we need, shopping , restaurants , our storage and most importantly my mom that lives in the Olmsted Falls Clover property which was our biggest reason for choosing this property. The management and maintenance staff have been the BEST, Monica, Dan & Joe are top notch at what they do! Always friendly, polite and attentive!! All the residents we have met so far have been so friendly. We have not regretted the decision to move here one bit. We have 2 other family members and a close friend that live here as well and we’re close to my best friend that lives in the Strongsville Clover property."

"moving to Sheldon Square is the best decision I have made in my entire life. The people that live here are warm and welcoming not to mention a lot of fun the people that work here are willing to do just about anything to make sure that you are happy. That is a really nice change for most of us. There is so much to do if you choose to do it . They have a coffee shop , a beauty salon , a game room , free party rooms and you can bring your pets! I am 66 years old I only wish I knew about things like this when I was 55 but then I probably would’ve missed out on this place because it is brand new .! It is nice to know you are the first and only person living in your apartment. Our property manager is very nice very helpful a lot of fun and it doesn’t seem like there is any problem that is too big for her. I referred to her as our house mother because this reminds me of a senior fraternity and sorority house. this will be the first time in a long time that I have paid all my bills because they are paying them including your cable and Internet where else can you get a deal like that?"

"I have been at this Sheldon Square Senior Apartments going on 3 months now. I love it here felt like home, my two pets love this place immediately can tell by their personalities. It is very quiet here, and everyone knows one another sure is friendly atmosphere. What I like the most is that is Smoke Free Campus! Then Staff is very understanding & helpful they do get things done in timely manner. They always have activities going on for everyone who is interested to join in. The Coffee Bar is beautiful with fireplace."
