Bellefontaine Manor Apartments

"Nice having washer and dryer hookups and utilities included, but getting maintenance done and having repairs done correctly is annoying. I fight a leaky roof every year. I believe it's time to look around. They also have a major problem keeping a manager and their head bookkeeper has an issue with keeping the accounts straightened out. I paid a deposit and still have the receipt... but the recorded amount of the deposit is half the amount of what I paid. Then head bookkeeper wouldn't adjust the books. I also had to clean up water damage from a roof leak numerous times without compensation. And they have lost numerous checks. Yes, My eye are looking elsewhere..."

"Wanted no stars but it wouldn't let me. I have called every day for two weeks and no answer. Not even an answering machine. No way to operate a senior apartment complex!"

"The only reason why I give this 2 stars, is because I really loved my neighbor. Management is shoddy at best. I moved into an apartment where a heavy smoker lived before me. The cleaning done before I was to move in, was horrendous!!! It took me two weeks to make it livable to move in. All they did was plug in three air fresheners and painted the entire place with a dark gray, Kitz. They even painted the CEILING! It was so dark and depressing. Maintenance took care of big issues, i.e. hot water heater needed replaced, a/c malfunction, but anything else and you're on your own. I had no floor trim inside my front door, which caused me to cut my feet on a couple of occasions. My kitchen drain leaked from the first day I lived there and I added it to several work orders. They didn't bother to fix these issues, until the days before I moved out. They had the nerve to come in while I was still there, in order to get it ready for the next renter, fixing things that should've been done when I first told them about them. The biggest problem I had was when my lease renewed and they lowered my rent. However, they continued to take the higher amount out of my bank account. I told them so many times, yet they NEVER changed it. I had to stop payment on my last month's rent and allowed them to just take my deposit. When I left there, they STILL owed ME money. It's been three months and I haven't seen a dime. From talking with other neighbors, I don't expect to ever see my money."

"Poor Manager!!!! I personally don't live there, but I know someone who does. They are not very nice to there renters."
