"I lived here for over 2 years. Both management and maintenance always responded to concerns in a timely manner. Never any issues with other renters and located in a quiet area. Great place to rent when you aren't looking for all the "bells and whistles"!"

"They'll happily take your $100 and be nice but then turn around and straight up lie about your credit score - a credit score that would still be good enough to qualify for a conventional mortgage from a major lender, but not good enough for them apparently. Sounds like redlining if you ask me."

She was very professional, quick to respond to our emails and eager to help us find our first home. We chose Chesterfield Apartments of Maumee because the apartments were affordable and they fit all of our needs on our apartment wish list! Plus the kitchen has an open concept that we adore! We highly recommend considering these apartments if you are currently looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to live!"

"My personal opinion is to look elsewhere. I would recommend not finding an apartment that is owned / operated by Noneman. Rent was $645+ a month including water. Average rent cost was up $10-$20 a year. Below are my feelings with the place located on Picadilly / Chesterfield. In the three years I was at this location, everyone apartment in the building had a turnover rate. There wasn't even ONE apartment that had residents that stayed as long as we did. We chose to stay only because we felt it was more of a hassle to move to another location when we were looking for a house. Also, don't expect any of your security deposit back. They will try to find any excuse to make sure they keep most of it. Again, these are my feelings / opinions on the location. I tried to be fair in my assessment. Pros * Walking distance to Pizza Hug, Five Guys, Meijer’s, Taco Bell, and a few other locations. * Safe area. * Plenty of parking. * Garbage containers typically never full. * Allows pets. * Management can be helpful / kind. * Yard / lawn maintenance was kept up-to-date. * Snow removal was adequate. * Parking lot repair was adequate. Cons * Rent continues to climb $10-$20 a year. * Washer/Dryer combination - $3 a load for both. * Dryer doesn't actually dry clothes well. Had to hang clothes in apartment to dry. * Road outside apartment has high traffic / noise pollution. * Don't expect your security deposit back. * Will charge $30 per set of holes in wall that are bigger than 2mm no matter what. * Allows dogs. Good and bad. Some dogs will bark consistently throughout the day/night. * Walls are chalky. Poorly built and can't hold hardly any weight. * Heater inside apartment was loud whenever it kicked on. * No central air. * No central recycling location. * Email communication was “okay”."
