"This will be a very long & detailed review for anyone that cares to listen. My first ever visit to this office was 01/30/24 for a dental cleaning/evaluation. X-rays were taken & the whole process went smoothly, I enjoyed my time there. I returned on 02/13/24 to get 4 fillings done. During the filling process, the doctor stated to me, that a previous filling I have was too big & needed a crown. I had to refuse the crown due to the cost & was planning on getting it done later this year. She later then informed me that the same filling was accidentally touched so it had to be replaced - I was fine with this but not happy about the extra work. Upon checking out, I was also told I had a $62 credit on my account. A couple hours later, after the numbness wore off, I noticed a large portion of my tooth was missing. Please keep in mind this is NOT the tooth that needed a crown/replaced filling earlier, this is the tooth in front of that one. Since I was unsure if this was my actual tooth that was chipped or if it was 1 of the 4 scheduled fillings that somehow didn’t get filled enough, I called back 2 hours after I left the office to see if they could resolve this issue. They were kindly able to see me the following day. 02/14/24 I return to be seen about the chipped tooth, I first see the woman who did the fillings & she told me she can see the chip but has to get the doctor for second opinion. I never see her again after she leaves for the doctor. The doctor that comes in, I never saw previously for any of my past visits, he is a male & I've only worked with a female doctor there before. He also brought in, I’m assuming a dental hygienist, who I also had never seen before for any of my previous visits. Neither of them introduced themselves before telling me there was nothing wrong with my tooth. Now I have had some bad experiences with other dentists pior with treating patients with respect & listening to their needs. But I had never felt so gaslighted & just utterly all concerns ignored. I had tried to bring up my x-rays that were taken just 2 weeks pior & was told “that’s just my tooth”. The only solution that was offered to me was for the tooth to be shaven down, I obviously did not want them to touch my mouth any further, let alone be charged for their mistake. I wish this was the end of the review but unfortunately there is still so much more to go. Upon leaving on 02/14, I was told I had a $62 balance, I was confused bc I was previously told I had a $62 credit the day before. I went ahead & paid because at that point I was so frustrated & did not want to owe the office anything. Now after billing my insurance went through, I have $125 credit with them, so I in fact did have a credit & she unnecessarily charged me. I spent $260 to get my tooth chipped & an additional $125 just for them to keep apparently, not even counting what my insurance had to cover. Today is 02/22/24, one week later & the tooth that had a filling replaced which was also unnecessary & their mistake, is giving me pain. I never had an issue eating, drinking, chewing or any pain until after that tooth was touched by them. I included before & after pics just so everyone can see clear as day my tooth is not the same as it was. I have so much regret choosing this office & I hope that this review will make you reconsider going as well."

"I called and scheduled an appointment for January 2nd at 9 o'clock. I got a confirmation email and text message (so it was definitely confirmed). Showed up on the day of and they were closed! They said they were open online and everything. So I called and left message, no reply. Called the next day and left another message? Still no reply. I didn't get a cancelation email, text, call, nothin. I saw someone else say a similar thing happened to them. Clearly they need a new receptionist..."

"It was my first time at Hamilton Riverside Dentistry as a new patient. The staff was very professional, organized, and courteous. The dentist was obviously experienced, and very knowledgeable of the service I needed. My appointment was at 9AM. and I was out in 30-40 minutes. All my paperwork was completed prior to the appointment. That's always important. I found a great parking space. The facility is very nice and clean. I would highly recommend Hamilton Riverside Dentistry."

"I would highly recommend getting a second opinion if you go here. My son has made it to 15 without a single cavity. I haven't had cavities since well before he was born. We go there one time and I'm told we both have 4 cavities each. I get a copy of their x-rays and go to another dentist only to be told they see no cavities for either of us. The new place takes their own x-rays and still see no cavities whatsoever. This is after probably the most uncomfortable cleaning experience of my life. We waited for over an hour. The Dr does the cleaning, not a hygienist, so there's one person doing everything, he let water drip out of my mouth and all the way down my back and said that's normal, as if I haven't been going to the dentist for 40 years. That has never happened. And, since he was in a hurry from being so far behind schedule, the cleaning was extremely rough and painful. I have never had such a bad experience at the dentist in my life. Then to go and find out he was trying to get me to fill 8 cavities that don't even exist, fraudulent and absolutely insane!"

"Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They understand the patient needs and take the time to talk and explain procedures. I felt zero pain during and after the visit.I have been a patient for over five years.And will continue to be."
