The UPS Store

"We shipped a suitcase to Charlottesville, VA from Solon ups store and the suitcase has arrived broken and missing 2 wheels. Tried to file a claim on line couple times but didn’t work even from laptop; when gets to last step of adding bank information it keeps loading forever and was never able to complete it. Tried to call solon ups store number and customer service number, the automatic voice after taking the tracking number, hangs up the call after providing her a correct zip code destination. So frustrating. Update; I have sent email to the mentioned customerRelation on Tuesday, September5th, upon reply. 4 working days have passed, no response at all even preliminary. Update; today is December 26, I got no response at all, I just lost my suitcase."

"The older male is consistently rude, makes comments under his breath about taking Amazon returns, like it's a huge inconvenience for him. I always have my items packaged and labeled to make the transaction as smooth as possible but yet he still complains. I've witnessed him be incredibly rude to other customers as well. I'm giving it 2 stars only for the fact that the woman isn't as rude as he is. If I had other locations closer to me I would go there instead. Unfortunately nothing will be done and he will continue be jerk."

"I have utilized this UPS location for almost a year now to send off weekly shipments for my business. The staff on site can be friendly depending upon who you get!! For the most part I have put up with the "micro aggressions" from the so-called owner due to the convenient location and quick service. However, today was the last straw when he flat out exploded in rudeness after my support person was putting a box onto their scale at the checkout counter and the scale accidentally fell onto to the floor.. The owner was extremely rude and began berating my support person by telling him that " this cost $700 and if you break it you will pay for it" --in addition to a host of other inappropriate comments! I tried explaining to this individual that it was accident and no harm was intended. When my support person finally spoke up and stated that this person acted like he had an attitude, the response from this individual was " I do have an attitude." Thank goodness there was another customer on site that took it upon himself to speak up and point out that if this so called store owner is so concerned about his equipment and the load of boxes that we are bringing into his store, then he needs to load the items onto the scale himself! There's honestly a baseline sense of disconnect and rudeness (almost robotic) at this store, albeit, the newer employees are much friendlier though! I will not be utilizing this UPS location again. There is no excuse for this type of behavior especially from a so-called owner! Very poor representation of UPS entity!!"
