"I usually go to another place to get my taxes done. My taxes are not complicated since I am single. I usually get charged about 60 dollars. I have always be satisfied with his service. He does not have an instant tax refund service. This year I tried Liberty. They offer rapid tax refund or loan. I always have extra money taken out so I usually get between 2500 to 4000 dollars back in taxes. I got a call today from Liberty. My tax advance was not approved by Republic Bank . Liberty can't tell me why. I was told to call the number on the 7 page form. I called that number. It was to JTH Financial. The mentally challenged person who answered said he could not tell me that Republic Bank made that decision. He did not have a number I could call. I got a phone number off the internet for Republic Bank.They could not tell me anything they said. Republic Bank told me to call Liberty. I called Liberty. They told me they would call me back. Nothing yet. So it has cost me 320 dollars to get a taxes done in a attempt to get an early refund plus 49.95 "Account Handling Fee paid to the bank". No one is able to tell me why I can't get 1300 dollars back from the 2550.00 of the Federal Tax refund owed to me. So it has cost me 300 dollars more to get my taxes done at Liberty in an attempt to get an early refund which looks like I am not going to get. And no one can tell me why. Needles to say I will not go to Liberty Tax again. Don't go there in attempt to get an early refund. It is a rip off.
