"I've been going to this location weekly for a long time and always greeted with a smile and respect. This time I'm told I need a different box. She said it had a hazardous label on it. I peel it off and it gets caught on my packing tape. I ask to borrowed scissors and she saids no we can't help you. What? I had to leave and go buy scissors and tape since I wasn't close to home. One use of the scissors is all I needed. I see them help people all the time. I'm not giving names cause I don't want anyone fired but just to let you know they would have gotten 5 stars up till this time."

"Went in to ship a package and was greeted with a nice smile and friendly voice. Marc is the gentleman who waited on us. When you're spending money it's always nice to be treated respectfully, which we were. We will go back when we have packages to be shipped. Thank you"

"This store was impossible to deal with for shipping a high-value item. I needed to ship an important piece of business equipment to its manufacturer for repair under warranty. I had prepared what was necessary to send but they said that any damage to the item in transit would not be covered unless they packaged it. That’s fine, happy to have their expertise but they insisted that the item, and all the paperwork etc needed to be left wide-open and unsecured with them to be packaged at some later, unknown time. I could not risk not having everything sent that is needed for the warranty requirements. They refused to help package while I’m there, to confirm everything is in order. The manager got very offended that leaving thousands of dollars in equipment unsecured with them wasn’t something I felt comfortable doing. I went to FedEx 10 minutes away and they were super helpful getting everything packaged securely, insured and sent on its way. This location has changed, they used to be so helpful. They now treat every package like an amazon return to churn through."

"Andrea is an amazing employee! Give that girl a raise! She is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and efficient. Did I also mention that she was patient? We had a lot of challenges and questions, and she met each challenge and question with a smile and some impressive trouble-shooting. She made our whole experience. The store is well-organized, we were greeted immediately upon entering, and I noticed that the other employees were also friendly and efficient as they worked with other customers. The store was busy, but there was zero stress. We’ll be using this store whenever we’re in town."

"I called to inquire about a UPS store mailbox. My company had one at this location in the past, but it's been a few years so was seeing if there were any changes to the way things work. A young female employee answered the phone and kept running back to her manager when I asked basic questions such as difference in mailbox sizes. She was also repeating my questions back to me after long delays and often not the question I asked. I wasn't sure if she wasn't interested in the conversation, busy with something else, etc. For example I stated, "We won't have a lot of paper mail, but will be having some of our returns shipped there" and she repeats back after a long delay in which she sounded like she was fumbling with paperwork, "Since you are going to be having a lot of returns shipped here and not a lot of paper mail the mailbox size doesn't matter." I corrected her and stated, "I did not say a lot, but rather some returns will be shipped there." I then ask if there is a notification system where we will know if we have packages there. She replies, "I think there is, but let me double check with my manager." I replied, "Well shouldn't an employee there know this as aren't you who keys in the packages that are received into the notification system? Is it possible to speak to a manager as this is something that is important to our business?" It would seem to me if the employees there aren't aware if there is a package notification system for mailbox holders we run the risk of not being notified if we have packages sitting there. After a long hold the manager gets on the phone and first thing she says is, "You are welcome to ask for a manager, but I just want to let you know you are not going to be rude to our employees." My company spends over 6 figures a year on shipping expenses through UPS. I will be sure to let our account manager know about this to explain to them why we will primarily be using FedEx and USPS moving forward. I could have chalked it up to a new employee and this could have been easily solved and gained our B2B business with a polite and reasonable manager, but now they forever lost that and I will be also notifying all fellow businessmen and businesswomen in the community business groups about this situation and why they should consider not doing business with the Beavercreek UPS Store."
