"No longer Everything Wood, as far as I can tell"
"I have an old chair that has been in the family for 3 generations. My niece and nephew somehow got a hold of it during the holidays and they broke 2 legs off. I don't know how it was even possible as it's solid wood, and I thought the piece was unrepairable. Well I called around locally and no one really wanted to touch it, and a lot of places flat out don't even do repairs. However, once I met the owner Al overhere he reassured me that not only could he repair it, but (if I wanted to) he could also refinish it and make it look like it did 100+ yrs ago. The price was up there but he showed me 1st hand the process and countless hours that goes into something like this. I though it was worthy because not only is it an old family piece, but they sure as hell don't make furniture like they used to! Well needless to say the chair I inherited looks brand new. Al went above and beyond by fixing dents, nicks, and scratches that were very noticeable, but now I can't even point out where they previously were! I don't know what the chair looked like brand new a century ago, but I'm guessing the way it looks now was better than when my family bought it!! I'm extremely impressed and will be bringing other furniture pieces here in the near future. I don't know why everything wood has no reviews yet, and I'm happy to be the first. If you get a piece repaired and/or refinished here leave Al a review so he gets credit where it's due. Like all my other 4-5 star reviews, I'd recommend Al's everything wood to anyone and everyone!
