"Friendly honest peeps, buuuutt the service costs for simple filing is way up there kinda outrageous. As of Jan. 2023 simple filing cost $350 so if can find alternative I highly recommend you doing so."

"I will NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone! I went in to drop my taxes off today and was denied service by Kelly the front desk lady because I had my son with me. Mind you I’m a single mom and was only dropping off my W-2’s! Save yourself the time and money and go to someone who is going to treat you with respect."

"If I'm paying someone to do my taxes, I expect it to be handled in a timely fashion. They've had my W2's and my paperwork for a week now. I called to see what was going on and they told me it would be another 2 weeks before they even get to mine."

"Waited a month to find out nothing, called to figure out what was going on and no one new anything. This was back in April. Something had "went wrong" and my stuff had to get mailed in. They never told me until about two months later. Still paid them to send it and it's about October and still haven't received any returns. Makes me wonder if they actually sent it in or not because nobody could tell me anything about it."

"the day I filed I had to take papers to my wife to sign. returned the papers. I told the desk lady I'm returning my papers that needed to signed. said who they go to. took me 20 minutes to return the papers. Tuesday the fourth was my appointment. I waited over a week and nothing. we called the store. they new nothing, looked into to my papers and was like oh yeah. my tax preparer claims she wasn't in the office the day off my appointment. so whatever. the day we called the IRS accepted our taxes. now just have to wait longer because my info wasn't submitted and forgotten about. I'm paying 400.00 dollars for this? to note. same preparer last year, filed the same way (having to sign papers outside the store), same-day IRS accepted our taxes last year. not really impressed this year. not returning to hr block next year. been with hr block around ten years. done with it."
