"The deli manager (Stephen) refused to open a new package of D&W first-cut corned beef -- I wanted a half of pound, sliced. He said the package that was already open still had 3 days before it expired. I pointed out that the corned beef was beginning to discolor. He didn't care, citing "store policy." I asked for the store manager. who grudgingly opened a new package. Neither manager never apologized or looked me in the eye as I ordered additional meats and cheeses sliced by someone else. No store has ever refused a reasonable request before. This deli manager should be set straight. Customer service always trumps "store policy.""
"Just like other Market District across the town, it provides the best grocery experience. Fuel points are more generous than Kroger. You can get $0.20 off per gallon every time you spend $50 at Giant Eagles. The sizzling wok (at the food bar) is also a good place to eat before/after shopping."
