Exciting news for Meadowbrook Lake Neighborhood Park as it undergoes a renovation to include a new playground with various amenities for children of all ages. The upgrades will feature climbing features, spinning equipment, slides, picnic shade areas, sensory panels, and a new play area fence. The City of Stow is confident that these improvements will enhance the overall experience at the park. The project is expected to be completed by early spring 2024, with some sections of the park temporarily closed during construction. "This is a beautiful little honeycomb hideout park. Fisherman fish here. This park is most definitely kid friendly. It has a slide along with swing set. Several seating spaces as well as decks to walk out on to the pond. There is also a small beautiful waterfall."
"Very nice neighborhood park. The lake is very nice and there are four fishing platforms to use. There is a small playground that was recently upgraded with new equipment. The basketball court is well maintened and was recently upgraded with new surface. It is not a lighted court. There is plenty of area to run around in or to toss a frisbee or football. I am taking one star off since it would be nice to have a small pavilion for picnics or to escape the son. Although the playground is surrounded by trees. Also a walking path would be a nice addition. Otherwise a very nice and well maintained park. The lake provides a very nice background for pictures."
