Wapak Dog Park is a charming park located at 251 Industrial Drive in Wapakoneta, Ohio. This park is part of the larger Heritage Park area, which also includes Farmer's Market, Belcher Park, Harmon Park, Riverwalk, Veteran's Memorial Park, Wapak Breakfast Optimist Soccer Park, and Rudd-Yocum Park. The Wapak Dog Park was originally an Eagle Scout Project led by Scout Travis Rohrbach, who designed and built the park to provide a friendly place for pets and citizens to enjoy. The park was moved to its current location in 2020 due to the expansion of the Water Reclamation plant, where it continues to serve the community as intended. Visitors can bring their furry friends to enjoy the open space, play areas, and socialize with other dogs in a safe and welcoming environment. This park is a wonderful addition to the Wapakoneta community and a great place to spend time outdoors with your beloved pets.

"Dog bags dispenser empty. Was barren but good amount of off leash space for small dog section and large dog section."
"I love taking my dog here to run and play. A lot cleaner than most dog parks I have went to and haven't had any issues with overly aggressive dogs hanging out there. My only complaint is they just planted trees so currently there is no shade for the dogs until they get big enough."
"The park is easy to find and offers two large fenced in areas for smaller and larger pets. Picnic tables offer seating and the park appears to be undergoing improvements."
"Not bad. But the reason I gave it a 4 is the fencing that separates the large and small dog enclosures has been bent so that a large dog could get to a small dog and or a small dog could get out of the small dog enclosure. We did not feel safe about letting our dog off leash since there were some large dogs who were being aggressive when we entered the common entrance shared by both sides. Otherwise a nice puppy park with plenty of area."
