"Don't waste your time this place is hardly ever open. I've lost count how many times I've come here for nothing. They gotta sign "closed to unload truck" "closed too hot. check back for updates" like people really gonna keep coming back to check lol."

"Horrendous experiences over the last 30 days. My family has been shopping here for years and have never had an issue . As a matter of fact ,we preferred this store and spend the bulk of our monthly budget there . That being said over last 30 days we had to make some returns. Three times exchanged for same item and then took a refund and added more money to buy a more expensive item which was broken out of the package. They refused a return and took 3 days to convince them to exchange it. Since then they have refused to take digital coupons from us and refused to make change on a purchase . Said we needed to spend 50 dollars to break a 100 on a 25 dollar purchase on a Friday afternoon during Christmas sopping season . Cmon. We have not been rude or disruptive in the slightest . We have been made to feel very uncomfortable in the store every trip now. Being asked what's in our pockets ..etc .. I will not single out these employees because I do not believe in picking on others . The store is at fault wholly for creating and/or allowing this type of behavior from their store associates. God Bless and have a Merry Christmas . We can shop elsewhere"

"The store manager she's short and have black hair in a pony tail, she is very rude and disrespectful. I walk in family dollar all the time when i picked up my girls from school. We walked in the girls always have their bookbags on and no one ever stop me or tell me they cannot have their bookbags on in the store. So today i came in the store been in the store for 5 mins before the manager approached me and she said " THE RULES HAVEN'T CHANGED YOU NEED TO PUT ALL BAGS UPFRONT." And I'm confused because every time i come in here not one person told me that my daughters couldn't have their bookbags on. So i say I didn't know my daughters couldn't have their bookbags on i thought that was for when i have a bag from another store. She gets an attitude and repeat what she said in a loud tone. Then proceeds to walk away. While Shes walking away she talking about me. Now Im highly upset and exchange words of my own. She's is very rude and disrespectful, she always have a attitude when ever she works there. SHE'S RUDE TO ALL CUSTOMERS AND SHOULD BE FIRED! This family dollar is closer to me, i would rather walk 20 mins to the smithville location and get better customer service."

"I am a fan of the Family Dollar chain, however, this location leaves a lot to be desired in terms of service and professionalism. The first time I visited this location an employee was stocking a shipment onto the shelves. She had an entire row blocked and told me the lane was closed and would not reach out to grab my item Recently, I ventured back around 7:30 PM and there was a hand written note stating that store was closed. The lights were all on but no indication of a person in sight. Several customers were turned away."

"This place is a wreck in every aspect. The shelves are rarely stocked and if they are there's next to no organization. The employees are the absolute WORST though. I've been going to this store for years now because it's close to my home so I'm familiar with the store and most of the employees. The manager is always complaining about the employees to customers. The employees are unbelievably rude and useless so I can somewhat understand the managers frustration. Avoid this place if possible."
