"I was very disappointed with the service I received. My hair turned out patchy and much darker than I wanted. I stopped into the salon the following day to express my concerns and to see what could be done to fix it. I booked an appointment for what I thought was a color correction. I later found out that I would have to pay for that upcoming appointment on top of the $180 I already spent!!!! I canceled that appointment right away. I did not feel it was right to charge me for a service that should have been right the first time. Unprofessional salon. Please read the reviews and don't make the same mistake I did."

"I had been going to Light for many years pre-pandemic. I always liked it there. I just started going back and decided to take my daughter. The first time I took her, she apparently charged me for a kids cut. Despite being expensive, I thought it was ok for a good cut. I booked again for 6 weeks later and this time they charged me $50 for my daughter's cut. I also had to tip. I was shocked and I think it is absolutely unreasonably priced. Despite my history with the salon, there was no discussion about the price difference and they were not sorry. They have lost my business. Response- Frankly, your staff were the ones who booked the follow up appointment and could see that it was a different type and price than the first appointment. There wasn't any disclosure at that time from your staff that the type of appointment was different and it would be more costly. I would have appreciated the communication and choice rather than finding out when I had to pay for the second cut. The bad customer service by your front desk staff is very concerning and inexcusable. And BTW, just because you are located in Avon is not a justification to charge $50+ for an 11 year olds haircut . She is far from a woman at this age. Good luck to you and your staff in the future."
