"I got a haircut and facial. The facial was by Abi and i 110% recommend her! So relaxing and comforting and she really made you feel relaxed and calm, not to mention the facial felt absolutely amazing!!! I then got my hair washed, cut, blow dried, and styled by the fabulous Liz who also absolutely killed it! My hair is so healthy and fresh and feels and smells amazing!! Both did amazing definitely recommend these ladies!"

"There are many other amazing workers at the Golden Vanity. However, the Golden Vanity allowed an uncertified individual named, Liz to do my hair extensions. I was unaware of her not being certified with hair extensions. Her performance was easily a 0 star rating. She made the bead in my hair completely fall out, ripping out my natural hair. I paid $270 for what? For my natural hair to ripped out by an uncertified hair stylist in hair extensions?! I received no kind of refund, empathy, or apology. She did offer to fix it for free, however, I am uncomfortable with her touching my hair ever again. I was even told by another/new hair stylist she's NEVER seen anything SO bad. I heard nothing but bad things about Liz, however, gave her the benefit of the doubt walking into my appointment open minded. Thankful I'll NEVER do that again."

"I have never had such a bad experience here. Usually my hair is amazing and what I want but this time it was different. My hair is orange, pink, brown, and purple. I wanted all over purple (inspired pic here) and this is what I left with after paying $271. This is absolutely ridiculous. The least she could’ve done is told me we can’t do it since my hair would break off. Mind you, I have been getting my hair done here for a while so they knew exactly what was in my hair on top of it being the same girl I go to. She also checked my foils when she lightened the underside and then left it on for a bit longer. How could you not notice it falling off?? I am highly disappointed and want a full refund."

"I couldn’t believe they let me walk out with my hair looking how it did. I came in wanting to retouch my roots because I used color remover on a box dye that made my hair too dark. I picked out swatches and pointed out swatches I specifically did not like. Girl named Liz, who was far less than welcoming, recommended redying my whole head. Color came out looking jet black when I chose to mix an ash brown and chocolate brown. I said I was worried but Liz said it’s the lighting. Not to mention— she left dye all over my neck, below my hairline, ears, and even stained my sweatshirt. I spoke with the owner, she said my hair can’t be black and they used even lighter colors than the swatches I chose. The owner said she helped mix the colors. They should have warned me how dark the colors would be since they’re supposed to be the professionals. The color is exactly what I said I did not want and it just seems like they didn’t know how to get my color (a dark brown). I also sent the owner these photos of the messy dye job. She said she would call back but I know I won’t hear back because they don’t want to give even a partial refund. I am extremely disappointed in the service and carelessness they showed, do not recommend anyone here. Go somewhere else."
