"I absolutely love all of the ladies here! Every time I go I'm never disappointed!! MaKenna does my eyebrow laminations, and any waxing services I've needed and she does phenomenal! I've loved every service I have ever booked with her and she has such a great personality!! Amanda has done my lash lifts and tints and it's always sooo pretty!! I highly recommend her! Blair does my hair and she does such an amazing job! I've had bad experiences with hair from other places so I was hesitant when I started getting my hair done again and choosing a place, and having Blair work with me was the best decision I could have made! I trust her 100000x over! She is awesome!"

"I was referred here by a friend and OMG I love this salon. All the staff are so friendly and truly care about their clients. The atmosphere of the salon is very calm and a mix between a boho and antique vibe. I see Madisson Justus for my hair and she is such a beautiful soul. She is always so willing to embrace my spontaneous style and wiling to try out new things! My first visit I chopped off almost 8 inches and she was here for it! I have also gone to this salon for waxing from the lovely McKenna Louys. She is always so professional and makes the experience as enjoyable as possible. For anyone looking for a new salon, this one is worth it. I drive about an hour each way to come here as I’ve never had an experience like I do at Goldie & Reds. "I used Goldie & Reds for hair & makeup for my wedding for myself and my bridal party. So this review is strictly for wedding services from Goldie & Reds. My hair trial went really well and I was so excited, my hair looked wonderful and the stylist took her time to make sure it was perfect. I even took a nap and when I woke up it was still styled perfectly and looked great! My makeup trail was a little off because the airbrush machine was apparently out for repairs so my trial was done with traditional makeup even though I'd have airbrush on the wedding day. Not a big deal but worth noting. I loved my makeup and again, took a nap and it still looked great! The day-of I guess there must have been some miscommunication because I paid a deposit for 4 stylist to travel to me for on-site services, but only 3 stylists showed up. Not a huge deal, they sorted it out and I got my money back. I got my makeup done first and I loved it. Absolutely loved it! Then I got my hair done. This felt more rushed than the trial but it looked beautiful and I was happy. But by the time the ceremony was over the style was already starting to fall-out and they stylists didn't leave us with any extra bobby pins or hairspray, even though she had previously told me that she always leaves a bottle of hairspray and some extra bobby pins. This was a big bummer because my hair from the trial stayed through a NAP, and my wedding day hair didn't even last a couple of hours. My videographer did what she could to help, but it was still obvious that the style was falling out. Now instead of having stunning hair in pictures it looks obvious that it's falling out and there's a gap where there shouldn't be. I think the salon is still figuring out how to handle weddings so I would probably recommend waiting until they're a bit more experienced to book them for a wedding."

"This review Is in regards to Mackenzie Sammons, I booked an appointment with Mackenzie but she rescheduled three times. I get it, life happens, however it was just so last minute. We discussed what I wanted and I showed her a picture through text message and once again in the salon of exactly what I had in mind. But she decided to do her own thing with out even consulting me about it. She had me faced away from the mirrors so I couldn’t even see myself and what was going on with my style. I was completely unaware of what was happening. After the third appointment was successfully kept, the styling process was excruciatingly painful as she brushed and styled my hair insanely rough and carelessly. After the appointment I had a raging headache and even went to the emergency room because my head was pounding. Overall, would not recommend. She clearly didn’t want me in her chair. She made very little conversation, I had to ask questions. She made it a point to glance at another stylist every chance she could as if there was some underlying conflict that I was, and currently am, completely oblivious to. I’m very disappointed with how I was treated as a client and a person. She also asked me where I parted my hair before getting started, and once she was done she had my hair parted on one whole side and kind of chuckled and said “oh is that not where you part it.” Also my condition treatment was only 2 minutes, a condition treatment is longer then two minutes. You can clearly tell in the pictures of my hair that it’s really nappy due to her lazy conditioning treatment, and the way she was rough with the straightener on my hair. Also, she offered water, but instead of giving me the water from the water dispenser she went to the faucet because apparently I wasn’t good enough to drink the purified water. She also likes to show off her work, and post’s all her clients on her page but I was an exception because she knew she wasn’t proud of what she did to my hair. She even unfollowed me after the appointment, letting me know she didn’t want me coming back. Also, very disappointed that I had to come home and straighten my hair because of the way she made my hair nappy and very frizzy. After going to a “top level” salon, I left feeling confused, worthless and hurt. I go to a salon to feel good about myself and to enjoy the sisterhood that the salon setting offers. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK due to the bad service. Here is a picture of what I had wanted and showed her and here was my outcome"
