"This place is like stepping back in time. It is a small town restaurant that has been open for many years. I enjoyed the lunch hot brown and a bowl of vegetable soup. Both were great. The hot brown was cheesy and flavorful. The soup was a hearty and delicious. It was well worth the money. Update 10/23. This place has renovated since last time I was here. The renovations are nice. The staff is very friendly and they get your food out to you as soon as possible. My recommendation is just get the "special" whatever they recommend is delicious. I had a piece of ham, some potatoes, a bowl of beans that were actually good and cornbread. Great taste and something that I had not ordered if it wasn't the special of the day."

"We had a little Father's Day lunch here and tried the fried banana peppers, which were delicious. The beer cheeseburger was also very juicy and the tasty beer cheese sauce. The open faced roast beef was a classic hit. Nice atmosphere in a cute downtown setting. Would recommend stopping in."

"Very Very good!! Catfish and hush puppies were delicious. Our waitress Brooke was as sweet as the iced tea lol. Seriously she was great. Brought home pie but haven't gotten into it yet. Prices were fair and portions were plentiful Quaint little place. Will go back to try breakfast"

"Busy little place in old Georgetown with super friendly service and just really good diner style food. The pretzel bites appetizer was interesting. They are, I think, deep fried and crunchy rather than soft like I'm used to, but they were very good. The Beer Cheeseburger was excellent. The "Fava Chips" are made in store and are light and crispy. Mine, though, could have used a bit of seasoning. If they aren't salted while hot, right out of the fryer, there's no point. My buddy had the Hot Brown. It was his first so had nothing to compare it to, but he was a fan. Will go again."
