Oregon Recreation Department

The Oregon Recreation Department, located at 5330 Seaman Road in Oregon, Ohio, is a local government office and park dedicated to serving the needs of the City of Oregon residents and students within the Oregon School district. Situated on 32 acres, the Oregon Parks & Recreation offers a wide range of amenities including baseball and football fields, bike trails, playgrounds, a splash pad, basketball and volleyball courts, pickleball courts, and a fitness court. The institution provides youth and adult sports programs, camps, art programs, fitness court App workouts, culinary programs, and more. Starting January 1, 2020, the Oregon Rec is switching text providers, so residents can sign up to receive updates on program information, practice or game cancelations, registration dates, and more by texting "Orec" to 888777. Additionally, the institution hosts various events such as the Eagle-Lympics and movie nights, with bounce houses, laser tag, and prizes for competitive events. Registrations for programs such as T Ball and Coach Pitch Baseball/Softball are open until May 7, 2023. Visitors are advised to park on the soccer side and use designated access routes due to ongoing construction at the park.
