"It was Sunday at 5:45pm, the store closes at 6pm. We had just donated some items in the back and the sweet woman helping us with our bags said we could go look around inside the store since they were not closed yet. I had one specific thing in mind to search for, winter boots for our 7 year old, so I knew I wasn’t going to take long inside. Upon entering the store the clerk at the desk, named Charlotte, yelled across the store and told us they were closing and not to enter. I was really taken aback, I was a manager at a retail store and know I am not allowed to tell customers they are not to enter unless it is actual closing time. Just thought management should be aware of this happening as it could ultimately hinder your profitability."

"Hilliard-Rome Location: I have tried to shop there several times but it’s so dirty. They don’t clean or even wipe down the products. Even the new products are dirty. Almost every item I touched was absolutely filthy (not dusty but covered with sticky, dark, I don’t even want to think about what it is.) Yesterday, I stopped a child from eating “vintage” candy from an advent calendar. I showed his mother and then I left because I was so disgusted. Watch your kids carefully before they end up ill. None of the clothes have prices just different color plastic price tag fasteners which would be fine but there’s no legend. The employees/volunteers are rude AF. I asked where I could find one and the employee rolled her eyes and didn’t answer me. A customer behind me said he needed the same thing but she just walked off like we were bothering her. I know that not everyone has a choice but go to Ohio Thrift on Broad, it has friendly employees, the store is spotless and has a large selection of new items that are better quality at a lower price."

"For items that are donated 100% FREE to these stores by good people, why is everything priced so HIGH?? I have found items from the DOLLAR TREE marked $1.99!! A used squishmellow $9.99!!! Shoes $12.99!! Then every little step of the way at check out was a price checking event. "I have to check this with my manager". Ummm...I was told to tell you these are from the 99 cent bin AND you should know your job. For everything in this store to be a "gift" from good hearted people trying to help others, I feel nickled and dimed. No more, I will shop on fb Market place, yard sales etc. And I will no longer donate anything to this money hungry establishment. I find no "Good Will" here. There are better prices for new items at Walmart. People who shop these stores are also PEOPLE JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT TOO or we would be at regular stores. But thanks "Good Will", lost a shopper today. Sincerely, -Middle Class, Single Mother of 3 just trying to make it."

"This location is cleaner than most but the way they tagged all of the clothing literally ruined every single item in the store. They tagged the clothing through the front creating holes. Nobody wants to wear or buy something that has a very clear hole in the front. There was some good stuff but I and even customers around me were leaving with nothing due to this issue. Please fix this! I was in here a month ago and the tags were on the brand tag or at least placed strategically. Please fix this!"
