"Kansas City Style BBQ restaurant / sports bar, featuring BBQ, steaks, and burgers. Wife and I stopped in for dinner on a wim while traveling thru Temperance. I had the wedge and burnt tips and the Mrs. had a burger with potato salad. Service was fast and friendly and our food came timely. The wedge was good and the potato salad was creamy. The burger was prepared nicely but needed seasoning. The burnt ends were just ok. There was a nice bark and the fat was rendered and tasty however the meat was very dry. Was hoping for better. All in all it was ok and we will stop back at Smokehouse 734 again next time we are in the area."

"Very delicious food and great service. I had the chopped salad, brisket Chilli, pork and chicken sliders and the onion rings. Some of the most tender smoke chicken I've ever had. The chicken and pork had a great smoky taste! Everything nice and fresh! Can't wait to go back and try something different!!"

"We visited here on a Tuesday for lunch. The service was awesome! The food was subpar. We had the sausage lollipops. Those were honestly the best part of the meal. They were a tad spicy, (not in any real sense of being spicy, just flavor) sweet, and savory. They come as 8 so it's perfect to share. I also got a build your own burger medium rare with Gouda, caramelized onions, and caramelized mushrooms. It was good. Nothing very special about it though. And the Mac and cheese I got as my side was bad. It was more like buttered noodles. Really bummed me out. It was a fine place. I just wasn't incredibly impressed with the menu. There is not a lot of options for gluten free, (unless you count the side dishes) there is one vegan option, and one vegetarian option. The menu was made by Gordon Food Service so that is interesting."

"Read the reviews and thought it was worth a chance. The service was great. And it’s a cool place. We orders pickle fries as an appetizer and they had potential to be really good, but we’re soggy. The dipping sauce they were served with was excellent, but the batter on the pickles was bland and the texture thru us off. Ordered pick 2 brisket and pulled pork with green beans and potato salad; 734 smash burger with potato salad; and kids cheeseburger with Mac and cheese. The potato salad was so delicious, it was fresh and had a smoky but subtle flavor. The Mac and cheese was good. The brisket was a bit tough to be honest and the pork was seasoned but it was bland. The green beans could be so much better, throw some smokehouse stuff to make them work. The smash burger was big. It had a lot of flavors, but overall was a let down. I could see how some people would love it. But we personally didn’t. I would try again and ordered different stuff with the exception of the potato salad, I would order that again, and come back for that alone, it was a hit."

"Steak was excellent, fish and onion rings were very good. The salmon was good. Ribs (fall off the bone tender) and pulled brisket were good. Fries were good. Baked beans and coleslaw were excellent. Corn bread was excellent. Potato salad was just ok. And for dessert.....bread pudding which was excellent. First time here and will definitely be back."
