"Went to Haunted Hallow at Jefferson Park last night. So many families dressed in costumes having fun. Neighborhood merchants & services were there handing out treats. Shell, Bar Cle, EMS, the Fire Dept., Police and so many more. It was a great event, very well done with super hero's posing for pictures and a horse drawn wagon ride. Weather was perfect!"

"The family events are great but there's been shootings here too on the basketball courts sooo plan to trip here wisely and stay alert so you don't potentially catch a stray bullet."

"I've always thought that Jefferson Park is a really nice playground and Park, but sometimes that is not always a place I feel completely safe due to some of the activities and trafficking that comes through this area. I've never personally had any problems and usually visits have been pretty peaceful but I do know from Word of Mouth that there has been problems and that in the evening you should always be a little on guard. Other than this Jefferson Park would be a really nice place for the kids to play as long as you're aware of your surroundings."

"The park is very safe, but it also feels kind of barren at times, but I'm fine with it. It is good just for me and my group of friends to be there, while there is nothing else to distract us, or any danger lurking near us. There is a lot of room of improvement for this park too. If they do make these improvements, then this park would truly flourish."
