Marr Park

"Excellent campus and big areas and good parking lot"

"This park is almost always empty and, as others have put in their reviews, was a great place for RC vehicles as it has a lot of space and nobody there. However, recently while flying I was stopped by a public works official that they won't allow flying. Instead they lease out this park for soccer only so our tax money pays for an almost private use for kid's sports. This is an awful rule and makes it exclusive only to those with kids in sports, the public is barred from use even when it's empty."

"These fields are poorly marked. The fields are poorly numbered. The porta toilets are decent and the fields are spacious and in good quality. Luckily, Google Maps will get you there."

"This is where I grew up, I knew the Marr family and my grandparents lived on the property up until a few years ago. The land is still beautiful, and I'm SO happy with what they did to the land and I know that Kate and Larry Marr would be SO happy that this land is going to use. They were amazing people and did so much for the communities they lived in. They were especially good to me and my family. I just want to brag and compliment what they've done with this land. I thought it would make me feel sad, but instead this just makes me feel proud to have lived here and now to see others creating just as wonderful memories as I made growing up."
