"For winter: FUN PLACE TO SLED! For Good Weather to enjoy outside.. the park is fun for the kiddos! And adults when you want to feel care free and have some carefree fun! But my favorite part is the trail in the woods! It has bridges, rock steps. A beautiful scenery. The perfect walk through nature without getting wore out. It's not a super long walk. It's enough to enjoy it. And almost everytime there are deer hanging out in the field as you drive in/out. It's close to home. And a great place for kids to burn some energy. And adults to relax! There is also a Gym for basketball. Not sure what else they do there."
"Growing up Big Run meant sledding after the first decent snow. I hadn't been back to Big Run Park for quite some time and I noticed some improvements. Less trash, grass was mowed,trails weren't overgrown and seemed to be well maintained."
