They keep her busy with lots of fun (and educational) activities! Communication is great, and the teachers take such attentive care of every kid. Even the administrative staff is super involved caring."

"I am both a teacher and a parent here. It is a wonderful and amazing daycare. I started working here when my daughter was 2 months old. As a first time mom, I was extremely nervous to leave my little one with strangers. But the entire staff made us feel so welcome. Her infant teachers taught me so much and have helped me through every new parent question and concern i have had. The teachers are also very communicative about your child and their day to day activities. As a teacher myself, this is a great place to work. It's very family oriented, and everyone is very understanding and accommodating of the struggles of working parents. The teachers and administrators are so caring and friendly to everyone, and even the owners are so involved with the school. It's amazing and refreshing to see and experience first hand. I am very grateful to work in the same building as my daughter, and can't wait to see how much more she will learn and grow here!"

"From the outside, the building is not much to look at, sure. But wedged between a gas station and some other place, you will find the most dedicated, loving staff and teachers on the inside. This place just operates from a good heart, and all the other important stuff follows. Our child learned sign language here, how to wash her hands, sing songs, and follow directions. She has the best teachers and the best friends. I might add it is also more affordable, and has transparent pricing. The staff communicates regularly and is reachable at all times. Our toddler has been attending since she was a wee baby and she absolutely loves this place. She's happy when I drop her off and she's happy when I pick her up! We're grateful every day."

"If you're looking for a daycare, look no further than Hawthorn Academy on Snouffer Road! The teachers and management staff have been awesome from day 1 with communication, professionalism, and kindness. If we've ever had any questions or concerns, they were immediately addressed (even if I had questions outside of business hours). One of my favorite parts of Hawthorn is that it isn't just a daycare, it is a learning center as well! I am blown away weekly by what my toddler and infant are learning in their respective classes! The app that Hawthorn uses is an awesome tool for communicating with parents throughout the day with photos, messages, and notes about diaper changes, meals, and activities. You can communicate with your child's teachers directly through the app, which is awesome! Hawthorn worked with us to help potty train our toddler also, and it was so helpful to have them working on it at daycare! We love Hawthorn Academy :)"
