"Wonderful playground for the toddler thru pre-teen set. Colorful, creative and well maintained, the playground and splash park were lots of fun for my visiting granddaughter. She loved the swings, slides and giant musical instruments. The splash pad was a good place to cool off."

"We stopped here on a whim to picnic at the memorial area around the flag. The land was donated by the parents of JW Williams in honor of their son, who was killed in Okinawa on May 17, 1945. I counted eight other markers in the area, Was impressed by the work and thought that went into placing markers around the bell, most relating to military aircraft accidents (3 were in C-119 Flying Boxcars, one of which is on display at the WPAFB museum). It was a tranquil spot to have lunch, and there are numerous trash bins nearby."
