Thousand Trails Wilmington

"Nice park only because annual campers have fixed it up, but on the other hand the annual weekenders are the problem, there are to many annual campers, no campsites left for us traveling. To many golf carts driving way to fast, the road isn't paved and you can't even sit outside for a meal the dust is sooo thick from the carts and cars speeding by. I saw 3, 5 mph speed sign in the park, just because they drive the carts they think they can just speed all over, PUT UP MORE 5 MPH SIGNS, it might help but I doubt it. And it isn't even the young kids who drive and shouldn't it's the adults driving from area C to area A.The annual weekenders will be the death of this park. The restrooms/shower houses are in direr need of updating, 2 of 5 toilets are broken in the pool/clubhouse, and the sewage smell is soo bad. We were there for 21+ days, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REPLACE A TOILET?? Toilet seats are loose, it's just an old park and needs HELP. SERIOUSLY! Hire a full time ranger and put up more slow down signs,BETTER YET PAVE THE ROADS and INFORCE THE RULES YOU HAVE IN PLACE. We used to love this park. I'll give it a D - sorry not sorry."

"Played a Survivor game there last week and they were SO excited to see who was still in each night. They treated us so well and we were so happy to have been able to stay and do our challenges there. Thank you 1000 trails for all that you do!!"

"We stayed for one night. The other campers were nice and pleasant. They had a true camping vibe going with the food, campfires and games. The park was clean and well maintained. The sites were large enough and had clean water and a working pedestal. ATT and Verizon service was good. It pays to have the thousand trails camping pass. We would go back."

"This quiet little campground is our favorite! The staff is goes above and beyond and treat you like family! Hot tub is usually broken but the pool is heated and very refreshing plus they have a bonus kiddy pool! Loads of fun activities every weekend and the kindest neighbors you'll ever meet! (Most people are seasonal here so you make a bunch of new friends). This place may not have a bunch of up to date things to do (they have a playground and mini golf but it could use an update) but the people here make this place a golden little gem!"

"It was nice being able to check in online and arrive to a good spot. The kids loved the fact that there was a bit of a stream behind our site and that they could venture out and have fun. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The facilities were clean and accessible."
