"I went for my first appointment today that was scheduled for 9:30 AM on Monday. I received a phone call saying they needed to move my appointment to 9:50 AM. I arrive at 9:40 to do paperwork and after seeing someone that came after me go to the back at 9:50 I get up and ask about how long until my appointment. The lady then said that my appointment actually hasn’t started yet. My appointment is at 10:00 AM. I’m very confused and explained that I made my appointment in between meetings originally for 930. She’s already moved it to 950 and now she’s saying 10 AM so I would need to cancel the appointment. She then says you can cancel, but there would be a fee. I said I need to cancel it because now change my appointment twice And I have to get home and back to work. I won’t be making an and thatappointment here ever again. They do not respect people time. It does not take 30 minutes to fill out 2 pieces of paper. Not sure how to respond to their response so adding here. What you stated is not true and a flat out lie. I did not arrive at 9:50 it’s sad that you’d lie about that. I left at 9:58 because when you stated my appintmenas at 10, which I did not agree to I said that wouldn’t work for me because I made appointments between meeting and 9:30 and 9:50 is what worked for me. Not 10, and you weren’t going to get me in within 2 minutes. Thanks for marking me as do not return. You’re very rude and unprofessional as I’ve now seen other reviews stating. I now know to read reviews beforehand. Thanks"

"I’ve had a very bad experience with the Jessica that answers the phone: she lied and told me that my insurance said “I have to pay half on replacing my bridge that fell out after two-three years.” My insurance told me, that’s not true and that they should replace it back for free as far as I’m concerned and the insurance will pay what ever the code is. She argued with me and wouldn’t allow me to leave a message for Dr. to call me when he had time. I had already had a brige in my mouth for about 35 years and nothing was wrong with it. Dr. talked me into getting it replaced after all those years. I wish I hadn’t but I did. I like the Dr. but I shouldn’t have to pay anything out of my pocket being it was done there only two-three years ago. Also, please get a professional person at the front desk (Jessica) that gave me a hard time. I know you are not under my insurance but again, my insurance told me “it will be paid by them.” Yours Truly, Debbie Gaither"

"Dr. Downing and his team have been amazing to work with. As someone with a lot of anxiety when it comes to seeing dental professionals, they have been outstanding. Can't say enough good things!"

"I'm so grateful for Dr. Downing and his staff. On a Friday morning in September I woke up with a severe tooth ache. Thankfully there was no abscess YET. I tried to manage it all day Friday, thinking it would maybe go away. (Dr. Downing had given me his personal cell phone number a month prior at a regular checkup. I had shared with him that I recently had breast cancer surgery and that I would be going through chemotherapy as a risk preventative measure for future cancer. He advised me of tooth decay risks and told me that if I had any problems whatsoever, to call him.) Still in pain, I texted him Saturday morning. He texted back that his staff would call me early Monday morning. Sure enough, I got a call and I was asked to come in the office ASAP! I knew that Dr. Downing's concern was the same as mine. I was worried that my tooth would abscess without immediate care and that I would be denied chemotherapy and have a setback in my cancer care. Dr. Downing diagnosed me with a dying root condition in an already crowned tooth and referred me to a dental surgeon, Dr. Fuller. Dr. Downing also prescribed a pain killer and an antibiotic. I called Dr. Fuller's office and they gave me an appointment for the very next day Tuesday morning. In the meantime I got the RX's filled and experienced relief, and got to sleep that night. Tuesday morning, Dr. Fuller did his exam and immediate root canal surgery and a temporary filling. On Wednesday, I was able to receive my IV chemotherapy. The oncology doctor encouraged me to finish all the RX script provided by Dr. Downing. I had slight pain for 3 days and no infection. I returned to Pleasant Run Dental a week later and received a permanent filling from Dr. Downing. Special Thanks to Dr. Downing, Amy and Missy at Pleasant Run Dental!"
