"This visit did not start bad, but it did take a turn. Arriving and placing our order was fine, but when we received our food that all changed. My boyfriend ordered and large soup and I ordered a small (pictured) they look to have the same amount in them. I did ask the staff and they were very dismissive. A woman, who I’m guessing is the manager, yelled from a cross the kitchen something about the amount of cups in the bowls. So I sat down. My tomato soup was the worst I’ve ever had, and this is my go to order. All of our food was cold and very disappointing. To make it worse the entire time we were eating the staff was yelling, laughing, and even cussing so loud the entire restaurant could hear. Will not be back to eat inside."

"Unfortunately the the attitude of the staff out weighs the rest of the experience. My wife and I visited there this morning for a quick bite before heading to work. First there's a big sign on the cashier station stating to "USE KIOSK FOR ORDERING". Ok so not a bad thing I guess so we go over to the kiosk to order just find out that 7 out of 10 items are "SOLD OUT". This is at 6:45 in the morning, they've been open for 15 minutes. How do you order when everything is marked sold out? So when asked why everything is sold out, we were met with a unbelievably very rude almost belligerent employee (Victoria) telling another employee to "just take their order" and stating they were "limited on folded eggs" as she walked off mumbling "it's Friday bring it on". As the rude person said they were "limited" which means they weren't out so why was everything marked sold out already? Shouldn't they at least wait until they are "sold out " ? Can't you cook more eggs and "fold them"? Are you out of eggs? There's a Giant Eagle across the street. Did the person responsible for ordering supplies not know they were out of stock? It wasn't a hard problem to remedy. Victoria understand customers are what enables a restaurant to be open because without sales there isn't money to pay your salary and the other expenses associated with a restaurant. When you give a rude belligerent attitude toward a customer that is asking an legitimate question it tends to drive those paying customers away to other businesses. Do you not realize there is a new breakfast place open just down the street. I hope you're not the manager and if you are this would explain some of the other reviews on this location. We WONT be back!"

"Simply not the same as years past. Food was okay while the soup was good. They have gone to the customer placing their order on the kiosk as so many other retailers. Warmed chocolate chip cookies which is what many worshipped."

"The woman at the counter has a severe attitude. She threw my bagel into a bag but never asked if I wanted it slice or toasted. Then when I asked for it sliced she was annoyed. She proceeded to put on the same glove she had when she handled the last person's food. Now mind you, this woman is handling money so her putting on same gloves means that her dirty hands are touching the outside of the gloves at various times. I spend Anywhere from $15 to $40 a week at panera. If you look at my reviews I give them all over the country because they are my goto for breakfast and lunch."

"TLDR: GO ELSEWHERE TO EAT. The food and the attitudes at this place are bad. Now, I have previously had the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt from Panera and, when prepared well, it is delicious. However, today around 6pm, we ordered 2 of these from the Mayfield Heights location, paid cash, and they conveniently failed to provide the receipt in the bag. A friend ate one sandwich and mentioned that it was thin, mostly bread, dry, and had no avocado on it. I opened mine and it looked the same (see photo). Some chewed up-looking, dry, but also somehow soggy??? chicken, 50% of the sandwich was just wilted cilantro, and it also had NO avocado. It was disgusting. I managed to eat about half before giving up. We called the Panera,no someone who identified themselves as "General Manager" answered, clearly had a bad attitude, dismissed our concerns, and stated they could replace the sandwiches but only if we returned the food. I'm not about to disrupt my whole evening to travel back to the store with half of my sandwich and a jar full of my friends vomit for a re-do (although tempting), so maybe this can help somebody out there: GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO EAT! YOU'RE WELCOME."
