Fluffy Duck Café

"I've been there a few times and I found their food very fresh and delicious. The ham and cheese is quite good. The banh mi is an interpretation and not authentic but it's still quite good. Latte and cappuccino were good too relatively for this area. The older gentleman might be a tad grumpy at times but he was never rude to me and my friend whenever we visited in the morning. If folks understood that this is a small 2-man business running essentially a bakery (not lounge around type café with free Wi-Fi), people expectations would be more aligned and not bashed them for something they're not advertised to be."

"The best coffee, pastry and sandwiches in the area! Bakery is always fresh and absolutely delicious and coffee is just amazing. I used to live very close to the Fluffy Duck Cafe and that is how I initially found them. Several months ago I moved to another area, and there are plenty of cafes with bakery and coffee very close to my new house and most of them are really very nice. Yet, none of them has such delicious pastries and coffee as Fluffy Duck has. So I take every occasion and take additional time to come here. I usually take Latte with Orange Cardamon, this is my favorite. And I love all the pastries and all sandwiches served here (I have already tried most of them :)) The service is always very nice and friendly, the place is clean and comfortable. Just love this place and wishing them all the best of luck!"

"Delicious fresh baked goodness. The ham and cheese croissant is amazing, as was the raspberry tart in the picture. So fresh, hard to find croissants still warm. Super flaky melt in your mouth. Looks like I’ll be back to try a chocolate one sometime soon lol."

"The moment we read the owner’s response that they do not re heat croissants, we knew we would like this place (anyone reheating croissants means they’re not fresh) - croissants were great as was the coffee. We read the reviews ahead of time and we had positive interactions with staff but we did focus on the bread. We felt it a bit expensive ($4.50) but understand it’s priced for Cleveland clinic . Definitely recommend / will make your trip to the hospital district of cleveland much more fun."

"Surly service in a sweet Cafe with fabulous pastries. I felt unwelcome from the moment I stepped in the door and was ignored. I ordered and ran out as fast as I could. Reading other's reviews makes me understand this is business practice, and it's sad; even with pandemic stress why beat up on customers trying to support you? I was so disappointed because a friend loves this place and while I drive by nearly every day, I'd never stopped. Figuring out the parking is challenging and I drove around and parked in the front, down a bit. My croissant was flaky and tasty but the coffee, meh. $8 Probably won't go back, ever."
