"I eat at tropical smoothie alot. Will not be going back to this one. I ordered 2 sandwiches & two smoothies. I asked why it's full price for the smoothie when the sign right by the register clearly states its $4.49 to add on to your meal. She said oh I don't know its just what we charge. I asked to speak to a manager & she said their isn't one here. It is pricey there anyway but then I don't want to pay even more than I'm supposed to."
"This was a great place until recently. I hate to post anything negative, but I was treated so poorly that it needs to be out there. The HIGHLIGHTS: My coupon (from the bottom of a previous receipt) was not accepted, even though they’ve been accepting the same kind of coupon for YEARS (no expiration printed on it); the owner accused me of not giving the coupon to the cashier each time (when even she herself has rang me out and watched me hand her the coupon); she also accused me of bringing a coupon from somewhere else (“This could be from Shell for all I know!”); the owner, who treated me like I was part of the family before, suddenly treated me like I didn’t matter and she did not care. I got the “F—- OFF!” look from her. I’m a very bright and friendly person. This was uncalled for. The story: I’ve used coupons that print at the bottom of the receipt, always gave them to the cashier. They do not have an expiration date printed on them or anywhere on the receipt. They do not say they need to be attached to the rest of the receipt or used within a certain timeframe. However, these are reasons the owner said she would not accept my coupon. “We won’t be accepting this,” she said. No kindness in her voice. She accused me of bringing the same coupon with me and never giving it to the cashier, as well as using a coupon from the nearby Shell station. Which is random because I don’t go there. Prior to this, she was kind, sometimes warm. I understand owning a business and I understand working long hours, so I appreciated her acting in the past like she would take care of her good customers. I came at least twice a week. I spent close to $40/week at her store. It takes a lot to upset me, but now im done. Just want this to be out there so hopefully she will treat people better.
