"You’re paying out of pocket, so find someone better. Dr. Is extremely condescending, I had to beg for something to help my depression for months before I felt listened to. I suspect he was literally in a car driving during one of my appointments, because I kept hearing a turn signal. Kat is great, but the other office staff are extremely rude and refuse to acknowledge mistakes and mismanagement. After I requested my records be sent to my Primary care provider for MONTHS, they terminated me as a client without any correspondence, and without my knowledge. Extremely condescending office worker said that the “Onus” was on me to manage my care, after I suggested that it was the office that may have messed up. Thank goodness I left and found a more compassionate psychiatrist."

"I'm shocked by these negative reviews. I've been a patient of Dr. Brandhemiel for over a decade, and because he is the best psychiatrist I've found, I drive from Cincinnati to see him. For background, I have treatment resistant Bipolar Depression, PTSD, ADD, and a sleep disorder (RBD) that causes chronic exhaustion. For the first 15+ years, I saw many different psychiatrists, tried numerous medications, suffered through all the side effects, and still required hospitalizations because I was suicidal and unable to get better. I rarely left my home due to the panic attacks and extremely debilitating depression. Dr. Brandhemiel literally saved my life. I've been in remission for the past 10 years. Yes, I wish Dr. Brandhemiel was covered by my insurance. But, to be alive and able to actually feel joy. To be able to function and be productive. That is priceless. I hope those still in the battle, feeling frustrated and hopeless, are also able to reach remission. Don't give up hope. If Dr. Brandhemiel isn't a good fit for you, please keep searching. But, in Dr. Brandhemiel, I've found a doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful and who never gave up on me. He keeps up with the latest research and is truly a partner in the pursuit of my well-being. A psychiatrist can only do their best with the treatments available. I fully trust that Doctor Brandhemiel always gives me his best."

"Do yourself a favor and find a different office. They will never answer the phone… EVER!! But they are happy to call you to collect cash payments for appointments….staff is very rude and lazy."

"5 stars for diagnosis and treatment. I had a positive experience with both Dr. Brandemihl and the psychologist who was there at the time. He was able to diagnose rare, complex disorders. Everyone was caring, considerate, accommodating & supportive. I’m very grateful."

"Buckeye Psychiatry is a wonderful resource for Psychiatry and Mental Health. The doctors here are very professional, take their time to listen and address all needs and inquiries when it comes to mental health with ease and courtesy. I would recommend this establishment to anyone that is looking for a psychiatrist that has CareSource Molina, Buckeye health and more. Don't cut yourself short when there's help right around the corner! I give this establishment including the people behind the desk, the practitioners and primarily Dr.Brendanmihl - five stars when it comes to doctor-patient relations."
