"Complete waste of money if your child knows where they plan to go to school. The only thing they truly did was fill out the FAFSA and that was more of a pain than a help, as it took us out of the loop. Composed a letter for us to send when we needed to appeal our financial aid -- something I could have done on my own, and didn't help at all. I thought there would be much, much more advocacy. Save your money for the college bill instead. I'd really like to get my money back."

"My dad paid them over $3000 and I remember that they had promised us that they would get me financial aid to cover all of my expenses at college. What they really did was write a letter to my intended college asking for help (a letter that I had to correct because it had a lot of incorrect information) and absolutely nothing happened. The college never received the letter, I never got scholarships or money through CPNs "help", and my dad is out $3000. This is a fraud. No one really needs these people. They do things that anyone can do by themselves or with some help from friends and family. Don't waste your hard earned money."
