"Dr. Schwartz has taken care of me on numerous hospitalizations this year-several lengthy ones where I was pretty sick & he was nothing but wonderful. Unfortunately my last admit was nothing short of a nightmare & I felt like I was talking to a completely different person...actually feel 10X sicker than i was when I arrived at the ER & was on the end of several poor decisions by the staff that left me to deal w/the consequences on my own as I was discharged despite feeling terrible. One of the most heartless, careless, neglectful & downright cruel interactions I’ve ever had w/a physician at Hillcrest. I’m slowly learning my lesson-and have almost no faith in the physicians at Hillcrest anymore. The internists at least seem to be wrapped up in all of the wrong things & as an RN...it’s disheartening to watch. It will be main campus for me from here on out. It’s just not worth it anymore. Good docs are so hard to find....not sure what has happened but it’s a sad day not only for my health, but my heart."

"It is with a heavy heart I write this review. 15 years ago I meet Dr. Randal Schwartz when he was assigned to me at Hillcrest since I didn’t have a PCP. His bedside manner immediately had me wanting him as my PCP. Even had some Lynyrd Skynyrd playing as his ring tone. Talk about putting a 20 something kid at ease when he is admitted to the hospital. Over the years I would go in once a year sometimes every other year since I was younger in good health. His office was always understanding of my unique travel schedule and my inability to schedule months in advance due to my work schedule. They worked with me for years so I didn’t miss important check ups or health concerns. This past year his office staff has been rude and unapologetic. Consistently canceling my difficult to schedule appointments making it almost impossible to get into see him. It almost seems like unless I’m unwilling to see the Office NP or Dr. Inna Krasny then they do not want to deal with. Sad day when you only wanted to get in one last one to see a Doctor you trusted to talk about a family issue that may have long term life changing issues with your health. To ask for his advice for my next PCP to help me navigate these scary times. This alone wants me to switch hospital systems here in Cleveland. Sad how a hero can fall in my opinion"
