"The medical providers and nurses are absolutely amazing and I have never had any issues with them. The old administrative staff and front desk was awesome. Very friendly, helpful, engaging, happy to see you, knowledgeable and seemed to really care. Would be nice to have that again."

"Does anyone answer the phone or no? I have been trying to call for 35+ min now. Just want to check the status of an appointment that's all. You say you open at 8am but when do you start answering calls?"

"Issues: - Made me drive from Painesville to Willoughby just to get my blood pressure checked - Rent-a-cop makes some people wear masks while ignoring you when you point out other people NOT wearing masks - Getting prescriptions refilled is some kind of catch-22, guess I don't need the medication YOU prescribed for me - Patient advocate for the VA doesn't respond, I can only assume it's because they get constant complaints about the same things. Either that or the advocate is as lazy as the rest of the staff Good: - appointments are usually done on time"

"Hi.. my parents were there for filling forms out.. meanwhile I was waiting in car for them... in back parking lot where a small woods is . I noticed trash litter and one area had 20 some beer cans like someone was camping in there.. Thought u might want to be aware of.. tks and be careful as well.. God bless u."

"Not the worlds best VA clinic but not the worst I suppose. I’ve gotten generally good care except for an eye examination and glasses. Following my most recent eye examination my glasses were made incorrectly because the optician measure them incorrectly. They were remeasured and new glasses were made and still I cannot read with them. Now it falls back on the doctor, who I feel rushed the examination. Whether or not they will correct the problem in a reasonable amount of time has yet to be seen. Finally got glasses ... they weren't perfect but they function. That was the best I was going to get. UPDATE: Subsequent to the eyeglass fiasco, I needed to see a doctor, as I was feeling sick and congested. After getting a run-around between voice mail, nurses, and call-backs I contacted the patient advocate who said he saw no appointments available for two week-plus for my doctor. I chose to see a non-VA doctor through tele-med (out-of-pocket of course). He diagnosed me with a sinus infection - I had COVID. So, while I see this as just a bad flu it would have been nice to be seen by my doctor in person. As as now you really suck Willoughby VA. You lost two more stars."
