"We worked with Shannon Besenfelder for our wedding and could not have been more impressed. From the moment we toured the venue all the way to the reception, Shannon was in constant contact and made us feel totally confident. We wanted a venue that didn't require any setup on our part. Emerald was perfect because I was able to drop off all of the centerpieces, table cards, etc. and all we had to do was get married and enjoy the evening. The room looked even more gorgeous than we anticipated! I wish I could get married again simply to work with Shannon. You can tell she loves what she does. Shannon made wedding planning completely stress-free and was able to accommodate all of our requests. Our guests had high praise for the food and staff (thank you Sue and Kevin!). They especially loved being able to walk upstairs to their room after an open bar. I cannot recommend Emerald Event Center enough - it is five star service from beginning to end."

"This was my best hotel stay ever. The room was clean and well designed. The soundproofing was great. I slept all night no problem. The shower is huge and you can adjust the water temp before getting in. The provided soap had a light fragrance. The breakfast had oat milk! I’m lactose intolerant so I really appreciated that. There is no restaurant in the hotel only frozen appetizers that the bartender can heat up for you. I got chicken wings and they were good. There are frozen microwave dinners in the lobby store in case you arrive late and hungry. There is no place to eat in walking distance except for a convenience store."
