"Paid extra for the room with a Jetted tub on their website and when I got there didn't get that room. I asked about it and the lady said there is no room with that. The room we got put in also smelled weird like smoke almost."

"After having an issue with a denied card at The Hotel at Oberlin, I needed to quickly get another place to stay on zero notice and this Holiday Inn Express hooked me up nicely. Check in was smooth. Front desk clerk even added to a joke about Maury Povich that I just made to my brother. When I had an issue with the toilet two days later, the same front desk clerk got me a different room two doors down. Thumbs up all the way! This member was grateful."

"Not a great experience. Room smelled a little sour. Was clean enough, just smelled a little off and the humidity made floor feel sticky. TV was a good size, but Spectrum cable is annoying to navigate and the hotel didn't bother printing a guide. Shower had 2 settings, cold good pressure or warm with low pressure. Breakfast was laviky strewn about. One of the least impressive spreads for hot options I have seen since covid rationing. Coffee was underwhelming. Checkout took some time since the lady running the desk was nowhere to be found. She finally rolled in just after a nice lady just arriving took the reins."

"Comfortable, clean room, 5 minutes from downtown Vermilion. Staff was pleasant, bed was comfortable, bathroom was adequately stocked, and the view of a farmers field was refreshing. I'd call the room "cozy" due to its size but it was nice. Pet friendly was a plus. Only inconvenience was the door to the parking lot wouldn't work with the key card, so always had to enter though the front door."

"We stayed here for 3 days while in the area. Wanted someplace close to Cedar Point but away from all the Cedar Point traffic and high prices. This one worked out great. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast in the morning had a nice variety as well. We used the pool every day we were there and always had it to ourselves. There was always plenty of parking and the staff was friendly. Only weird thing was that there was a guy who walked in off the street one morning, helped himself to breakfast and then proceeded to take off his shirt and give himself a shot - right in the middle of the eating area! He looked like he was possibly homeless. No one from the staff said or did anything. He didn't bother anyone directly but it was still strange."
