"It’s like being interrogated by rapid fire by this man, like he had one biased notion in mind and will not listen nor stop until he gets the answer he thinks is correct. He needs training in trauma informed care and biases. The first visit he implied that my side pain might be psychological and did the interrogating, but he came recommended by a friend, has lots of experience, and ordered the necessary tests so I figured it was just really bad bedside manner. This second visit (annual visit scheduled at the end of last year’s) thought was worse. He immediately jumped to the assumption that I was doing unsafe practices because I requested an STI check with my annual exam and would not stop interrogating me nor believe me until I said something he could twist into what he believed. At one point he muttered something about women my age like me (unmarried, single in 30s) being unsafe, so I’m guessing it’s an overall bias. Perhaps if he’s known your family, you’re married with kids, you only date women, or he’s seen you for a while it’s not like this, I keep wondering, but for me it was unnerving and I could not proceed with the exam."

"I have been seeing Dr. Osher since I was 18. He is very caring, actually takes the time to talk about your health and answers any questions you have. When I moved out further I switch to a different O.B. Office closer to me which was Seven Hills... they were always in a hurry, so I decided driving further out to see DR. Osher was worth it and went back. To the teenager girl complaining about him educating you about STDS.. that’s his job!! Be thankful he cares enough to be straight forward and give you the information you need about safe sex."
