"Laura is THE BEST! I think its very important to be able to make your own decisions about your healthcare and Laura will always lay out my options for me and discuss with me what WE should do. She is knowledgeable and just extremely pleasant to interact with. 10/10 would recommend her to anybody!"

"Dr. Van Wyck performed an emergency c section on me in December 2020. She carefully monitored my baby’s heart rate and found that my baby was in fetal distress. I’ve never seen a doctor and team (or human beings in general!) move so quickly to get me to the OR. I had a healthy baby girl because of Dr. Van Wyck. She was not my OB, but she was on call when I was in labor. I am truly grateful for her and think of her and the team often. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for delivering the love of my life."

"Really unimpressed no offense I went to Christ to expand my options for what’s going to be best for me and my child this is my first viable pregnancy I’m 10 weeks I had 2 previous miscarriages and word for word she said “I’m dismissing your previous 2 miscarriages they don’t seem to factor in as reasonable for you to be high risk and we can’t accommodate any additional appointments for you” and I never wanted to up and leave an appointment so quickly I left there in tears did not schedule another appointment with them I will gladly stay with St Elizabeth they’re offering me weekly appointments with fetal heartbeat monitoring and never dismissed my previous miscarriages and also discredited all advice from my Obgyn I personally won’t step foot into another Christ for this reason and I’ve never been so disappointed in a provider. Also went for the ultrasound my uterus is retroverted they were able to get AWFUL photos after pressing as hard as possible on my pelvic bone instead of just doing an internal ultrasound like a normal person but beyond me just make sure you explore ALL options before settling."

"I hate to leave a bad experience review, but my daughter was delivered by Dr. Van Wyck last year, and I would ask anyone to rethink seeing her for the delivery of your child. I had a condition that was found early on in my pregnancy by another doctor on the Christ Hospital Team where I had a "extra layer" of placenta growth. I had ultrasounds often to make sure my baby was okay and growing, then when it came time to deliver it was not made a priority to check and make sure all of my placenta was out, even though it was clearly in my charts since towards the begging of my pregnancy. Dr. Van Wyck failed to either view my chart, or take precautions to make sure all of it was out because I was told that it was. I ended up in the hospital about 2 weeks post partum after DELIVERING the rest of my placenta at home. It was the worst experience I could of imagined."
