Hilton Garden Inn Columbus/Dublin

"Came in town to bury my little brother. After driving 6 hours after working a 12 hour shift. I get to hotel and with my arms/hands full i am swiping my key to my room on the door and it did not give me entry access so i had to go back downstairs and get a replacement. Upon trying to freshen up so i could finally get a nap my sink appeared to be clogged/stopped up and i just wanted to inform front desk about the issue so i/we would not be charged for damages. Maintenance comes up to the room where I’m half dressed, he tries to and fix the sink and after 20 minutes he leaves and i go back in the bathroom to continue to freshen up and… the sink is still clogged. We inform the gentleman at front desk yet again but, ask not to be disturbed for a 4th time due to us needing rest. Not to mention after two attempts of trying to get in our room our room key/door also was not working and instead of changing the batteries inside the door panel or moving us to another room we were told to “Let front desk know if we go out bc they would have to let us back in our room with THEIR MASTER KEYS” Every time! Which is INSANE! Crazy on so many levels!!! I will not be back and this stay was horrible! It definitely added to my already very much existing stress and anxiety."

"Quoted $110 over the phone, got on site now $121. Breakfast is $17pp, we needed to stay 6ish hours before a surgery. Not sure where the extra $11 came from? Maybe someone should sue for false advertising on prices. I'll be calling my CC company and showing them my bill when it was booked. All this for $11 yes. I'm sure they do this to each guest. The rooms were clean but outlets didn't work and the bathroom is small. Curtains don't close all the way. 10 minutes to the hospital. Served is purpose but don't recommend."

"I have visited this hotel since 2015, but this is my last visit in December 2023. This hotel is going down really fast, and I will no longer stay at this location. I have personally experienced and witnessed the decline of this hotel. No wonder why the occupancy is so low. They can’t even keep their kitchen open. They don’t include creamer with the coffee in the rooms. They are now charging a $3.87 a day for parking. Their argument is downtown hotels are charing $20 a night, so our rate is much better. What they don’t tell you is the downtown hotels don’t own their parking lots, so you either have to park in the garage, external parking lot, or do valet parking. Hilton in Dublin owns the entire land, but they have started to charge parking fees while parking on their property. This is sleazy sales at its best, and I am confident Hilton is going to lose loyal customers like myself. I intend on filing a formal complaint to the Hilton corporate and BBB for the hidden fees that they don’t tell you during the booking process. Shame on you greedy Hilton management to squeeze everything you can from clients. You are your own worst enemy, and you deserve what you get in return."

"After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but overall, very good experience. The room was clean, no issues. The gentleman who checked guests in was very helpful and professional. Yes, the room furniture, carpet, bathroom and lighting needs updating. Definitely an older HG Inn decor. And, the hotel isn't close to any walkable dining options. Kitchen seemed open...they advertised breakfast."

"Bed fitted sheet is floating on top of the bed, self service. Bathroom has no Shower Gel. Bathtub had hair remains from previous stay. Advertised for Breakfast - however no Breakfast service is provided when I asked while checking in that pretty much sums up the stay."
