"Unfortunately, I've had a very poor experience with this obgyn office and feel as though they have been neglectful in treating my first pregnancy. I had been seeing Dr. Louvakis for PCOS and had ended up getting pregnant unexpectedly due to my own journey towards weight loss. I found out when I was 6 weeks and called the office right away. They didn't schedule me until 8 weeks. During this appointment the standard blood work was drawn and an ultrasound was done. However, none of the risk factors or concerns regarding my PCOS were addressed. Two weeks later, I had abnormal bleeding with cause for concern. This was Friday morning. I called the office as soon as they opened and didn't hear back from them until 5 hours later saying the earliest they could get me in would be Tuesday of next week. I went all Friday and Saturday not knowing what was going on and finally decided to go to the ER on Sunday to be checked out. Thankfully, the staff at the hospital said everything was fine with the baby and to follow up with my obgyn, but still no diagnosis as to why I had the bleeding. Fortunately I was able to get in to see a well qualified and knowledgeable obgyn in my home town that was able to get me in the same day I called on Monday. He informed me of the many steps that should have been taken early on in my pregnancy that weren't even discussed with me with Dr. Louvakis. It is extremely upsetting knowing that I am a high risk pregnancy and steps that could have been taken for prevention are now missed. I wish I would have called my current obgyn sooner. If you care about your baby and your pregnancy, I suggest finding a different office than this practice. The staff were rude when I asked questions and presented no care or concern when I called. I an extremely thankful my baby is okay, but almost feel that this doctor and office wanted my pregnancy to fail as they offered no preventative measures or concern with abnormal symptoms in my pregnancy."

"Run from this woman! She seemed nice and listened at first, but when I disagreed with her and refused an IUD she was pushing she became spiteful and vengeful. She showed up 2 hours late for my procedure, made me wait in the waiting room during an appointment for over an hour while she stayed at her desk, and I'm convinced that she has put disparaging remarks about me in my permanent medical records."
