"Have stayed here on multiple occasions over the past year. Not being from Richmond, I got a few weird looks when telling people where I was staying; apparently the previous owners did not run a reputable establishment. I can tell you first hand that the rooms are clean, room service is prompt, and the owner and his family are very kind people and hospitable innkeepers. Comfy beds, clean linens, very hot water, and guest laundry (coin op). Convenient to everything! I wish them the best as they continue to renovate and add more value to their business!"
"I will start with the bathroom and the shower curtain had mold and I promise you smashed bed bugs on the curtain. Like that wasn't bad enough later that evening when asked to give new towels while we were returning the used ones they told us we had to wait until morning with the cleaning lady. The laundry room the washer never would drain my clothes so I had to take them to the laundromat to drain and dry. The owner literally said cuss words at my grandkids and they really treated not just us but other customers like he was above them. Never in life will I ever sleep in that bed or room. Bad bad bad place"
"Great stay for the price. Owner is helpful and friendly, clean place for a few days stay. Willing to work with you on pay schedules if need arises. 10/10 experience. Ice is awesome as well here."

"Great price, really comfy beds. This place is really off the beaten path in a smaller town. The way we ended up here was we were driving a couple days and thought we would be overnighting at a motel 6 in Dayton, but when I saw how sketchy the area is where all the Dayton motel 6 was, with bulletproof glass in the lobby, I was like “I don’t think so“, and I started making calls and ended up driving another 30 miles to the Richmond Inn. Quiet area, no people walking around randomly, so it felt a lot safer for the car. My kids thought the room had a slightly musty odor, and there was maybe a little bit of water damage on a wall, but the beds were so freaking comfortable and the price was so good that I don’t care."
