"This is a great B&B ! I like B&B’s We booked this for a weekend getaway. Daniel was amazing when we booked the room via phone. He was more than helpful when answering questions about the location of the B&B to the local attractions. It’s a must if you are going to the local wineries of Madison. Daniel kept in touch with us before our trip with emails and texts . We stayed in the “Caboose” it was a perfect choice for us . It was cozy and it had the privacy we like and I got to watch the ducks waddle bye each morning. The gourmet breakfast was worth the extra charge when staying in the caboose. It was a chefs choice breakfast. We were sort of in suspense to see what was going to be for breakfast, it did not disappoint. Daniel brought it out to our bistro table so we didn’t have to go far to eat. The bed was comfortable and the sheets. No one ever reviews the bed sheets but these are worth the mention sooooo soft . Daniel had our fire ring set up and ready to go. They have a s’mores and popcorn package which is great if you have a sweet tooth . Daniel and his wife had spot on food and restaurant recommendations for us, being it was our first time in this area. The dizzy doe’s goat ranch has a lot of goodies and gifts too . The grounds are pretty and the gardens and trails are great for relaxing. The lost pearl is a great getaway. If u are going to the area check this hidden gem out ."

"This place is a true gem, and everything you'd ever want in a bed and breakfast! Beautiful rooms, great piano in the common space, lovely rural atmosphere and dozens of cozy places to relax outside. We loved the menagerie of animals, too - goats, ducks, cats, etc. And the owners were so friendly and helpful! Be sure to get the breakfast during your stay. Top notch and made fresh each day. We loved this place and will be back for sure!"

"This bed and breakfast is certainly a treasure! We found it 4 years ago, and we keep going back! The hospitality is too notch! If you need anything, Daniel is at your service. He will start a fire for you whenever you'd like, he can give you dinner suggestions or day adventures ideas. He and his wife are always pleasant and accommodating! And the breakfast is excellent in taste and presentation. We truly cannot say enough good things about our stay, the room is clean, the house is quiet and we are comfortable! I highly recommend The Lost Pearl!"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Lost Pearl. My husband and I stayed in the Carriage House and my daughters stayed in the Pirate Room. We had a rushed trip for a family wedding but staying at the Lost Pearl was so relaxing. The rooms are decorated beautifully, with so much detail. The bed in the Carriage House was so comfortable it was the first time I slept straight through to morning in a very long time. Daniel and Sandra are amazing people. Conversation was plentiful, as they are so interesting. I enjoyed hearing about the history of this beautiful home. Their son is a joy as well. I really enjoyed watching him with the goats and seeing him lead them into tricks. I don't want to forget to mention the breakfast. It was amazing!! My special request was achieved and the hospitality surpassed every expectation. Thank you Daniel and Sandra. We will be back."

"It was my first time staying at a bed & breakfast and my boyfriends second time. His first experience was awful so we were a little hesitant to try it out. I think we really lucked out and chose the best place! We stayed in the Patricia room. It was very clean and well decorated. It felt cozy and very private. The back patio was great. We had a view of the goats, but I never really heard them unless we were sitting outside and they were out. They're adorable! We also took a nice walk through the wooded area and the garden. Such beautiful grounds. To top it off the breakfast was delicious!!! Wow, they did a beautiful job with presentation and taste. They are so accommodating. All and all, I would not hesitate to go back, I would never stay anywhere else. This was a wonderful experience."
