"This hotel is super nice and all the staff was super kind! They were helpful and helped us figure out what to do during a big storm when we weren't sure what to do. The location is great, about ten minutes from downtown Flint. The room was super nice, had everything you would want in a room, and was clean and comfy. I highly recommend this place!"

"Got two connecting rooms pool side for New Years Eve. Live nearby but grandson could swim. The rooms were clean; bathrooms clean with towels and shampoos. There was a band with champagne for adults and white grape juice for kiddos. There was also a buffet which we mised because of swimming. However when went down, the servers made us plates. The salmon was delicious, green beans, potatoes and dessert. The desk service was excellent. If I was traveling, I would definitely stay here. Will have to do this again next year and have family from Boston stay when they visit in summer. Thank you for a great way to greet the NEW YEAR!"

"Staff friendly and helpful. It was clean and the best bed and comforter by far. The breakfast was the best. First place to have a hot one. Eggs ,potatoes and french toast. The pool and hot tub was clean and clear. Perfect for kids as mine was able to go in the whole pool while touching still. The water was a bit cold for me so I stayed in the hot tub. Whole it had Perfect temperature. I will be back. The only thing is I quoted a rate and had to pay about 30 dollars more. Still awesome experience.."

"We stayed one night while traveling for the holidays. We found this hotel to be clean and quiet. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. We would stay here again without any concerns. It’s a great location and we felt safe here."

"I chose the Gateway Hotel and convention center for is close proximity to the Flint Bishop Airport. I don’t often leave a review, but I was impressed with the exceptional service we received. The front desk agent, Eddie was very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed meeting the owner Khan, by happenstance while exploring the property. He was beaming with pride as he gave me a tour of the beautiful banquet room which was set up for a large event and a couple of very nice, generous sized meeting rooms. Having previously worked in property management and as a hotel concierge, it was refreshing to see his genuine enthusiasm and commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Khan went out above and beyond to make sure that my parents and I enjoyed a lovely dinner from their in house restaurant. Our room was nicely appointed, clean and had REALLY comfortable beds. It was nice to find a pet friendly hotel that had a clean, well lit, green area to walk our dog with a convenient waste pick up station. The complimentary continental breakfast located in the lobby included yummy roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and choices of a variety of cereals and muffins and actually good coffee! I would highly recommend the Gateway! Honestly, for all the amenities that they offered including a pool, fitness center and laundry this place is a great value and reasonably priced. I look forward to staying here again!"
